Guidelines for all Services

UPON ENTERING TEMPLE Please keep a 6 ft. distance between yourselves as you line up and wait your turn to check in for service.

MASKS Must be worn at all times (Inside and outside) If you have trouble breathing, lift it down a little but if talking or singing, please continue to wear it over your mouth/nose.) Everything that is associated with infected people can be contaminated & potentially infectious. The virus is on surfaces & you will not be infected unless your unprotected face is directly coughed or sneezed upon. This virus only has cell receptors for lung cells (it only infects your lungs) The only way for the virus to infect you is through your nose or mouth via your hands or, an infected cough or sneeze onto or into your nose or mouth. *When those ministering return to their seats, please wear mask accordingly.

NO HANDSHAKING! No hugs or kisses. (No physical contact.) There will also be no handing out of paper bulletins or First Time Visitor cards/packets. We’ll be digital . . .

SANITIZER All congregants will get a squirt of sanitizer upon entering. An Usher will disperse the sanitizer, and a Greeter will open and close doors for you while wearing gloves. (We want to make sure you don’t have to touch anything during your visit - EVEN THOUGH the Temple has been thoroughly disinfected, the carpets and drapes all cleaned, and every precaution has been taken to assure your safety)

DISTANCING Please leave 2 seats open between families. Also, every other row will be empty to keep a 6 ft. distance ratio.

WORSHIP TIME Please stay in your seats during worship sets. The dancers will lead us, but the congregation will not join in at this time. (We will navigate this and come up with a plan for the future – so rejoice in your seat, wave your hands, make a joyful noise unto the Lord.)

TITHES/OFFERINGS Ushers with gloves /masks will administer tithe envelopes upon request.) No Tithe baskets will be passed around. The boxes up front will be designated during Tithe & Offering time, so come forward and “make it personal” as you present your tithe & offering in the box to the Lord. (PLEASE remember to keep a 6 ft. distance between givers and be patient.) Rabbi Joe will direct flow …

RSVP YOUR ATTENDANCE DATES Please contact temple office and RSVP your times to attend services in the future. If you are attending Friday, please let others fill spots for Saturday – unless you are serving in a ministry.

ALTAR PRAYER AFTER SERVICES We’ll have a time for prayer after services but will have to maintain their distances and we’ll be using the prayer Room, etc. instead of altar for ministering.

NO ONEGS or FOOD GATHERINGS Until further notice we’re looking into how we can box up some lunches “in the future” and fellowship while keeping safe distances in the Fellowship Hall.

***TODAH RABAH! Thank you all so much for your understanding as we navigate through this transition. It’s GREAT to have you back where we can worship the Adonai again together.

Please remember to continue to support our synagogue with your finances if you are able. Give online at taklife.org, Text-To-Give (text the amount you want to give to 84321), or mail a check or money order to Temple Aron HaKodesh, 4751 NW 24th Court, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33313.

Shalom and Blessings
